Scope and Aims
The Journal of Innovations in Social and Applied Sciences (JISAS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies across a broad spectrum of disciplines in the social and applied sciences. The journal seeks to foster the dissemination of innovative ideas, theories, and practical applications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these fields.
Ethical Standards
Research Integrity: Authors are expected to conduct research ethically and report their findings honestly. Any form of research misconduct, including data fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the outcome of the review process or the content of the manuscript.
Human and Animal Rights: Research involving human participants or animals must comply with relevant ethical guidelines and must have received approval from appropriate ethical review boards.
Publication Decisions
Editorial Board Decisions: The final decision on the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the editorial board. Decisions are based on the reviewers' recommendations, the quality and originality of the manuscript, and its relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
Revisions: If a manuscript is conditionally accepted, authors may be required to make revisions based on reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts are subject to further review before final acceptance.
Corrections and Retractions
Corrections: If errors are identified in published articles, the journal will publish corrections to rectify the mistake.
Retractions: In cases of serious ethical violations or significant errors that invalidate the findings, the journal reserves the right to retract published articles. Retractions will be clearly marked and explained in the journal.
