Preservation and Archiving

JISAS does not currently claim participation in LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP Preservation Network, Portico, electronic legal deposit or another named scholarly preservation service. The journal will name an external preservation arrangement here only after active participation is verified.

Operational backups may protect service continuity, but are not described as a recognised scholarly preservation programme. The publisher should establish and document a verified preservation arrangement before making a preservation claim.
