Complaints and Appeals

Authors may appeal an editorial decision where they believe a material procedural error, undisclosed conflict of interest or substantive misunderstanding affected the decision. An appeal should identify the manuscript or article, explain the grounds and include supporting information. Send it to info@jisasci.com.

JISAS will acknowledge a complete appeal, manage conflicts of interest and seek independent handling where practical. Appeals are reviewed by an editor not involved in the original decision where possible; the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriately authorised academic editor is the final editorial authority. An appeal does not guarantee a reversal.

Complaints about an editor are escalated to another qualified editor. Complaints about the Editor-in-Chief, or publication-ethics allegations requiring escalation, may be referred to the publisher using the same journal email. Matters are handled confidentially to the extent compatible with a fair investigation and the scholarly record.
